Hello! My name’s Christine Ortiz and I’m a photographer from the Bay Area. Currently I’m a student at California College of the Arts using digital and analog processes to take up-close photos of shapes and textures I find that reflect how I’m experience the world through the lens of obsessive thoughts. I use a mix of Polaroids, digital cameras, and scanners to create my images. Furthermore, I apply vibrant colors, overlap my own images on top of one another, and push the physical boundaries of the photograph as an object.

I have done work for Goldenvoice and Another Planet Productions photographing concerts and events. I’m interested in collaborating with artists of all mediums in my photography, welcoming all interpretations of my art.
